Organic Skincare Review: Madara Deep Purifying Foam

Organic Skincare Review: MADARA Deep Purifying Foam

The term "Easy to Use" and "Clean" comes too my mind if you ask me what i think of MADARA Deep Purifying Foam.

MADARA is indeed one of the more popular cleanser in my store. It cleanses the skin well without stripping the skin's natural oil layer. One or two pump of this cleanser neatly delivers a generous dallop of foam for daily cleansing. This rosy scented foam goes on easily on the skin removing the day's grime and dirt.and rinses off cleanly.  It even removes light make-up. Suitable for use for all skin type. This bottle can last you 2-3 months and for its price, this product is quite a steal.

P/s: One of the customer with Ezcema claimed that it is the ONLY cleanser that works for him. Well what more can i say?

Organic Skincare Dermal Detox Regime

Our Thoughts (Research) on Dermal Detox in Singapore

I first heard of this term “Dermal Detox” when suki, inc launched its 21days Dermal Detox challenge in States just last month.  Body detox, liver detox, colon detox, yes these I have heard and have even done some of them, but Dermal Detox? Not yet. I have always thought that any body detox is good for the body including the skin. But to single out the skin and do a detox on it is intriguing for me. I have always been quite a “detox” queen. The idea of removing junk is appealing to me. Less toxins means a better body system and clearer skin. It immediately got me interested enough to do some research on it.

Suki’s 21-days Dermal Detox skin care regime consists of using 6 special products that is packed with high performance products to stimulate, strengthen and support the skin’s natural ability to cleanse and restore itself.  In 21 days, help your skin to be purified from the inside out and to be returned the a state of healthy balance.

How do you know if you need to go through this program? If you have been using synthetic products for a long time and your skin is showing signs of clogged pores, dullness, dehydration, fine lines and stressed skin, it is time for you to get started on this program. The accumulated toxins from synthetic product usage could have built up and weakened the immune system, leaving behind potential skin problems.

I have read many information sources on DETOX from books, websites and expert views.  The average adult has 1.6sqm of skin forming a barrier between the body’s internal organ and the outside world. Besides acting as a protection layer from bacteria and the micro organism from entering the body, the skin is also an organ for the secretion of waste product. As you heat up and sweat, you release a mixture of urea with other toxins from the fatty tissues. Thus the more you sweat, the more you release.

The following is a summary of these and my personal experiences on practical pointers for a highly effective Dermal Detox regime in Singapore.

  1. Use suki products religiously for 21 days to stimulate, strengthen and restore the skin’s own ability to heal.
  2. Drink warm water with a slice of lemon juice once in the morning and once before bed. Lemon is good in many ways. It acts like a blood detoxifier, improves immune system and has diuretic effects. Some sources claimed that it works better with honey but I prefer it without.
  3. Ensure that you drink at least 6-8 glasses of clear water each day to flush out toxins and ensure that the body is not “heaty”.
  4. Dry brush your skin 5-10 minutes with a good bristle before showering. Brush everywhere except your face and chest in circular motions towards the heart. It is an additional step but it is all worth it.
  5. Sleep in without any skin care products on your face once a week. Let your skin breathe and work out on its own.
  6. Sweat it out by exercising at least 3 times a week. Daily is ideal but who has the time or determination, except for that fortunate few.
  7. Have a detox bath once a week to eliminate toxins and pamper your skin. Just add the following to warm bath water: 1 cup baking soda (to help neutralize the acids in the toxins), 1 cup Epsom salts (to draw more fluids and toxins out of the skin), 5 drops lavender essential oil (gentle antiseptic), 5 drops chamomile essential oil (anti-inflammatory and antifungal) and 5 drops lemongrass essential oil (skin revitalizer). Very nice treat for your body if you can.
  8. Have an anti-oxidant rich juice once a day. Think blue berries, strawberry, cranberry. Tips: Blend 2 tbsp of frozen berrie/s with berry juices for a power antioxidant drink.

After 21 days, your skin will regain its innate strength and your skin will feel stronger, brighter and clearer. Skin care products get absorbed better after this program. Get started now by drinking a glass of clear water.

Till March 2010, we are offering the suki’s Dermal Detox Set at a special price of S$400 (u.p. S$573).

Organic Skincare Review: Pure Lochside Organic Orange Cleansing Oil

Organic Skincare Review: Pure Lochside Organic Orange Cleansing Oil

The name says all. A 100% organic cleansing oil that removes ALL make up, even the most stubborn make up of all. Even hard to remove mascara will succumb to the power of this cleansing oil. Containing good dosage of orange and mandarin oil  to rid your skin of the day's dirt and grim. A multi tasker that not just works like a cleanser but nourishes your skin with a good dose ofantioxidant from its base oil mixutre of jojoba oil, sesame oil and apricot kernel.

Best part, it comes with a muslin cloth that works to clean off the oil and gently exfoliate the skin at the same time. Skin feels clean and deeply moisturised. Suitable for all skin type especially combination, normal to dry skin. I will even recommend to people with oily skin, especially if for those that put on make up daily.Pure lochside organic orange cleansing oil rocks! Organic Skincare Review: suki pure facial moisture- balancing

Organic Skincare Review: sukiface Pure Facial Moisture - Balancing

if you have oily or normal w slight bumpiness or combination skin or have a love-hate r/s with oil,  this is the facial oil for you. Texture- wise, it is very very light. Scent-wise, it has a very nice subtle scent that lingers on even after you have slept through it. Skin feels just nice (not oily or dry) in the morning. This is the sort of oil that you will like to apply at night for a more lux feel. One of my fav and always a reliable fall-back when you have run out of solutions to skincare woes.

After repeated usage, you will find your skin more balanced, that is, less oily and less dry.

If you do not get the above results after using this, here are the possible reasons: -

(1) Apply too much. Note:  half to one pump is enough.

(2) Wrong application. Note: apply on damp skin

(3) First time using oil product. Note: Your mind and skin will need time to get adjusted to oil-based products. Give your skin one/two week time for adjustment.

(4) Your skin is allergic/ reactive to essential oil or base oil  Note: We accept exchange for allergic case.
