What do we look for before bringing in a product

Buying skin care products is an art. Sometimes we make the right choice and sometimes, we do not. It is an endless trial and error process. A product that works wonder for your friend may not work as well for you. This is because we are all different and our skin changes all the time. In one lifetime, you may have bought countless number of skin care products that seems right at first but were wrong. Pure Tincture is a place where you will find beautiful products that are right for your skin and a true delight to your daily skin care ritual. Our selection process involves countless hours of research and testing based on the following scoring system.

Our selection criteria:Performance - must be effective and do what it promises;

Purity - must contain the highest possible percentage of pure, natural, organic and bio-dynamic;Non-comdegenic - must not clog the pores and cause break-outs;Packaging - must be beautiful and biodegradable or recyclable. Packaging materials must not interfere to product chemistyFriendly to Earth and Animals - must be free of animal testing and eco friendly

Smell - must smell nice, of cos.

Some of the brands we carried may not be certified by recognized organic bodies. This is because we feel that brands without certification may not necessarily mean that their products are not effective and clean. They may choose not to get certified for one reason or another. One of the reasons that we are know of is that getting certified is a very expensive and tedious process. It requires a lot of money and manpower to get a stamp of endorsement. We support small family-based brands and companies that are fair trade.
